IT Help Desk Support & Systems Specialist
IT Help Desk & Systems Specialist is responsible for installing and maintaining hardware and software, cloud systems, network devices and services, storage and backup solutions. The position will provide end user support and training for more advanced technical needs.
Duties/Responsibilities
Install and Maintain bank’s IT systems including operating systems, servers, workstations, hardware, virtual machines (VMWare / Hyper V environment).Setup and manage network, Office 365, Azure, Intune, other on-prem and cloud services user accounts.Install and Maintain network infrastructure, supporting Internet, LAN, WAN, SDWAN, MPLS, VPN, and data circuits.Assist planning IT infrastructure with IT Director.Administrate network and cloud infrastructure, security permissions, group policies, print services, research log warnings and errors, monitor the system architecture resources and components.Patch managementAsset monitoring and maintenance (hardware, software, licenses)Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.Perform regular backup operations utilizing various software / services, and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.Helpdesk support, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Hands on experience with virtualization, VMWare, Hyper-V or equivalent.Hands on experience with Windows Servers and client OS, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policies, and etc.Hands on experience with NGFW (Sonicwall, Fortinet, Palo Alto), switches, routers, and other network devices.Working knowledge of Information Security software and services (IDS, IPS, Endpoint Protection, EDR, ZTNA).Strong knowledge of Veritas BackupExec, Veeam, and other backup solutions.Experience with scripting and automation tools.Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus.Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience preferred.At least 2-3 years of IT system support experience.IT related certifications in Microsoft, cloud computing or other network related fields are a plus.Salary
$40,000-$60,000 depending upon experience
