홈케어 어시스턴트 모집: 한국어와 영어를 구사할 수 있는 한국인 고령 여성 어르신을 돌보아 주실 분을 찾습니다. 해당 어르신은 체중이 120파운드이며 걷는 능력이 부분적으로 남아있으나 점차 악화되고 있습니다. 근무 시간은 유연하지만 이상적으로는 주 3-5일, 오후 5시 30분부터 9시 30분까지이며 주말 포함이 될 수도 있습니다.

업무 내용:

가정에서 직접적인 지원 및 돌봄 제공
화장실 사용, 목욕, 옷 입기, 그루밍 등 일상 생활 활동 지원
침대에서 휠체어로, 혹은 그 반대로 이동을 돕기 위해 환자를 들어올림. 안전한 인간 이동 방법에 대한 교육 필요
처방된 일정에 따라 약물 투약
식사 계획, 준비 및 급식 지원
가벼운 집안일 지원 및 청결하고 안전한 환경 유지
고객의 개인 정보 및 기밀 유지를 위한 HIPAA 지침 준수
자격 요건:

돌보미 또는 관련 분야에서의 경험 우대
필요할 때 적절한 돌봄 제공 능력
가정 간호 절차 및 프로토콜에 대한 이해
안전한 이동 방법 지식 및 실행 능력
약물 투약 경험 우대
강한 커뮤니케이션 및 대인 관계 기술
한국어 능력 우대
필요 시 무거운 물건 들기 가능
동정심 많고 인내심 있으며 주의 깊은 자세

Homecare Assistant for a Korean senior 120 lb woman with partial, but deteriorating ability to walk. This is a Private Party Contract for a single person. (Not through an agency).

Korean language skills strongly preferred

Shift is flexible but ideally looking from 5:30pm-9:30pm 3-5 days/week (sometimes including weekend).

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care in the home.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including using the bathroom, bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Requires lifting to help client out of bed into a wheelchair and vice-versa. Should have training on how to safely lift people.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Ability to provide care when needed
- Familiarity with home care procedures and protocols
- Knowledge safe lifting procedures and ability to safely lift and transfer client.
- Experience with medication administration is desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Korean language skills strong preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary

- Compassionate, patient, and attentive
