A local learning center is seeking an experienced English Tutor for students from 5th to 12th grade. We provide excellent tutoring services to students who want to accelerate in English or prepare for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, ISEE/SSAT).

Responsibilities and Duties Position:

Part-time to teach multiple sessions each week.

Provide appropriate and quality academic coaching to students according to the center policy.

Motivate students to promote ownership of the learning process so that they realize their full potential in school and in life.

Meeting with the director about students' progress regularly.

Work with students in an individual or small group setting.

Must be flexible with changes in setting and time.

Hours of operation: We are currently looking for a part-time tutor who can work after 3 pm on weekdays.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited college. English or a related major is preferred.

* Must have teaching experience in test prep.
