Procurement Specialist- Industrial & Defense Project

GB International, Inc., headquartered in Seattle, USA is the leading project management company in industrial and defense sectors in South Korea. With over a decade of experience, we continue to add value to our customers and vendors as partners of choice in the global marketplace.

GB International, Inc has been elaborating in the defense acquisition program with the South Korean Defense Administration since the year 2008, we are looking for the new members of our active team, has been specializing in the procurement of a variety of defense and military equipment projects with South Korea military agencies such as Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) and Navy.

*Only apply if you are interested in South Korea’s industrial, defense acquisition program administration and government.

Duties:

- Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.

- Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.

- Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.

- Authorizes payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.

- Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.

- Provides project planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

- Accomplishes project management and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

- Input Data entry

Requirements:

- Permitted to be Employed in the United States

- (US Citizen or Permanent Resident ONLY)

- Must be fully fluent in Korean and English (Bilingual required)

- MS Office Proficiency Preferred

- Knowing about Korean business culture

- Experience is a Plus, But Not Necessary (For Entry Level)

- College degree is not required

Benefits/Compensation:

- Salary: DOE (full time/work hour 8am~5pm)

- Paid Vacation Days
